I really thought that was going to be it as I am using the slider feature, but I’ve tried using the normal vertical scroll option when exporting and it’s still not working :-(

I really see what you mean about there being no perfect solution to this digital/interactive publishing business, there are a few simple things which I need to achieve and I’ve tried all the available output formats and each one supports some but not all of them. It’s so frustrating! I think I will just have to start compromising on how the document looks and reduce the navigation ability. I have a feeling HTML5 is the way to go though, it certainly seems the most promising.

In case you have any suggestions, here’s what I’m doing: A user manual for a touch screen device, mainly just text and graphics on each page but with tool bar along the bottom with a menu button which brings up the TOC within a button field using the button visibility functions… but also the TOC as very long so it needs to be a scrolling text frame. It seems to be the scrolling combined with the button visibility which is making it so difficult to find a suitable output…
