Am I the only one that wishes it worked more like Illustrator?
I don't see a “lock position”, I see a lock or ctrl+l. It is locking the object not the layer.
Using InDesign CS5

Once I lock the object, I am unable to select it to align to it. What am I missing in the workflow?
