MemberAlso it says I'm Offline, even when I'm on-line. And I can't edit my posts anymore.
Is this just me?
Nenad Marinkovic
MemberWell, it works for me just fine on CS5. I just selected the word and entered web address in hyperlink panel and that's it, it works.
Check first in Preview panel if your links work properly before exporting to pdf and other…By the way, you should choose pdf (interactive) when exporting.

MemberIn pages panel left click on left (or right) page of master spread. Then go to Layout>Margins and Columns and enter values you like. But remember don't select whole spread, just one page.
And about those tutorials, well lynda.com is the best solution in my opinion and Deke McClelland is my favourite.

MemberSo you want to delete all pages, then delete them from master spread.

MemberMaybe it's on locked layer?
May 16, 2011 at 6:32 pm in reply to: How can I -precisely- scale a cropped object in indesign? #59621Nenad Marinkovic
MemberI know one way. You can type 5 inches in transform panel in scale area where it says 100%. You must have constrain proportions checked.

MemberI tried many different ways but it won't work, there's no solution to find on google too. It's a pity.
I hope InDesign will be more powerful in the future when it comes to interactive pdf's

MemberAll you need to do is to select what you want, then run find/change and that's it. Selection should be selected in search drop down menu.
May 3, 2011 at 6:53 am in reply to: cambria math text in word file placed in indesign 5 document disappears #59477Nenad Marinkovic
MemberWhen I placed your word file, I got massage about missing fonts (of course I don't have them installed), but cambria math is not even there. In “find font” feature there should be all used fonts listed no matter if they are missing or not. But I don' see cambria math anywhere. I don't know, try copy-paste instead

MemberYour text is set to full justify, change it to left justify

MemberI'm looking at your image and your text looks good to me, I mean you only got few hyphons. You can play around with hyphenation settings, or you can check optical margin aligment in Story panel so you can push hyphons outside the margin and align text a little bit better.

MemberIf there's no other way around it, I guess I could make a separate version for online only, change it to non-facing pages, and redo my master page so it's the same on every page. Then the spreads feature could be on and it would still look ok. The document is also printed, so I'll need to keep it facing pages for the print version.
You can try this
Nenad Marinkovic
MemberI don't know if this is the best practice, but I take a text frame and snap it to photo frame and then I double click on black arrow tool (with text frame selected) and then I enter spcific value.

MemberYes

MemberSame problem here!
I know that this has nothing to do with your question but how did you insert image in your post above from hard-drive
