ParticipantDavid, why is that Adobe comes up with some NEW feature and releases it without testing it. I think a Table is a basic thing in a layout and the Testing Team at Adobe should have tested the Paragraph Shading on Tables as well.
Just ask them (Adobe) to hire a person like you before introducing something new.
Said that you’ll be too busy then :)Masood Ahmad
ParticipantDwayne, I too have the same thoughts.

ParticipantHey David, Our replies match but your post came in first. :)

ParticipantHere’s how I’ll handle such situations. There’s ALWAYS an alternative way:
I would go to Paragraph Shading Options and set the Bottom Offsets to the paragraph above the Tables and saved it as a Style.
For your convenience you can download the InDesign file to try. Though I haven’t created a Style.

I bet you wont need a script. And this workaround is absolutely FREE!

ParticipantLet me try to explain on behalf of Kai.
The Find What :
stands for Word Boundary i.e it will not search for string that is part of a long string. for example it will not search for 5 digit number or “xyz1234”. In your case the numbers are in group of 4.
\d stands for any Digit
{4} stands for the length of the previous GREP Wildcard which is \d. The 4 digits numbers can also be expressed as \d\d\d\d
stands for Word BoundaryThe Change to:
PJ stands for the replacement character as per your choice.
$0 stands for Find Text i.e. replace what is being find through the Find What expression.Hope that helps.

ParticipantThat’s true, David. I was writing the same, but now I have to rephrase.
Linda, try this and I hope you’ll be happy to see the results:
1. Select the Frame, that you would like to have Rounded Corners.
2. Go to Object Menu > Convert Shape…
3. and Click ‘Rounded Rectangle’
4. Once you have the rounded rectangle, try changing the corner radius using the ‘Corner Options’.Let me know if it helps, else I would like to see the file.

ParticipantHi Michael,
I did tried, but as I said it grabs the words followed by those marks.
I might be missing something. Can you please advise, what’s that!
Masood Ahmad
ParticipantI don’t think this is going to grab the last word in a line. To my understanding it will grab all the words followed by
.?!;:…and a space. I wonder if “to be eventually completed!” could add some magic to it :)Lets pray to God…
Masood Ahmad
ParticipantTo my knowledge, there isn’t any thing like end of line in GREP. If you want certain words/characters to be at the end of paragraph, then that is possible.
Masood Ahmad
ParticipantCan you please elaborate a little more on this, please. I didn’t understand your query.
Also it would be nice if you could give some Input(Raw) and Output (Final) example(s).

ParticipantHi, I think I heard something long back, but I don’t remember exactly. However, if you’re on a MAC OS, then you can use the Automator to run multiple Scripts in one go.
Go to Automator >> Utilities >> Run AppleScript/Run JavaScript…
You can drag as much actions to create your own workflow.Secondly, there is a title on Lynda, NPM Tutorials…
https://www.lynda.com/NPM-tutorials/Running-multiple-scripts/495275/536131-4.htmlagain, I’m not sure, if this is going to help you.
