Member\d is a so called wildcard-metacharacter and will find all digits [0-9]. To find one or 50 you could use \d+. The plus-symbol is the metacharacter for one or more times. But you ordered a specific amount of digits: 4 > Therefore I use \d{4}. Because this will find also 4 digits in a 6 digits number, I use a so called anchor: (for word boundary).
\d{4}
Find the start of a number, 4 digits, end of a number. You can then insert everything with $0 in the change to field.

MemberHi Marie Lee,
the short answer is: Both readers are important for proofing your book. And you should check your results e.g. in Nook, Kindle Paperwhite, Tolino, other, … as well.
If your epubs look a little different, that is normal behavior and doesn’t hurt. Best practice is to dive in the code, read the Amazon and iBooks Publishing-Guide first and rewrite the bad InDesign CSS according to this guides.

MemberI’ve no idea, why this is a good solution for you (clip the contents), but a script could calculate the width of the content and clip it.

MemberHi Candi, there was a stupid thread 2 months ago, but I wrote in this part a script, that seems to be the solution for you: https://creativepro.com/topic/adding-pages

MemberHi Adam, there are also some improvements possible. You can mail me directly at forum@ruebiarts.de

MemberHi Adam,
this is possible, but only via scripting. Please note, that I (and others) usually provide no free scripts. Because this is a short one, I make an exception.
This will update every toc in your document:
(function() { var curDoc = app.activeDocument, tocStyles = curDoc.tocStyles, nTocStyles = tocStyles.length; for (var i = 1; i < nTocStyles; i++) { curDoc.createTOC(tocStyles[i], true); } })();Kai
May 25, 2017 at 12:50 am in reply to: List of swatches of colors used and color values or names? #94851Kai Rübsamen
MemberTo create such a list is only possible with scripting. There are two ways:
1. Delete all unwanted colors, collect the colors in the swatches panel and create you list with cmyk-values
2. Delete all unwanted colors, then check every color in the swatches panel, if the color is realy applied, either local, as a style … If not, delete this color also and create then your listSince no.2 is timeconsuming for the scripter, this script will cost much more than no.1
So if you have only one document and 50 pages, do it by hand. If you have one document and 200 pages, choose no.1 and live with some wrong results? If you need this for 5 documents with 200 pages, choose no.2.

MemberKris, what happen, if you try to delete a color, that is applied to a character-style and the style is not applied to any text? You cannot delete the swatch, because it is part of a style. Altough it is part of a style, doesn’t mean, it is used.
To create a list with cmyk-values is not a problem, but to find out, if the color is realy used in the document is!

MemberOK, then the correct answer should be InDesign CC2017. The reason why I want to now this so excact is, that the handling of things in the background changed from CC to CC 2014.
You can provide files, e.g. with dropbox.
Please don’t post a huge example, a small one as idml is enough. Please post a version, that is correct and a version, that is wrong. Post also your created epub with the wrong and correct example. Do you see the wrong behavior on every reader or on a special once?

MemberEmma, in dependance of your documents, it is normal that you get new sections. Otherwise right handed pages becomes left and so on. I’m not aware of any preference, that could disable this.
