Bless you . . . Thanks for being friendly . . . I almost was a proper man of the cloth, but failed the selection panel. In retrospect, a very wise decision by the assembled sages of the day.
Cheating eh? So here’s my confession: Dear Father Forum and the assembled design gurus, I am essentially a good person – try to help the needy, poor and marginalised – but the moral high ground for learning is all too often beyond my failing grasp, as Google tempts me with it’s time-efficient, easy options on accessing knowledge. In my ‘homezork’ research the InDesign Secrets link was presented like a gift from Heaven and my fingers gravitated towards loading the site. I’d submit in defence I’ve travailed the more traditional academic route with books aplenty many years ago and now in my more senior years, perhaps deserve a ‘leg up’. Am I forgiven? I hope so . . . and bless you for help shared and doubles, the help to come for this ageing scribe.
Thanks for this Charlkotte. Very helpful. ‘Homework’ completed.
