MemberThere probably is a “correct” way to do this but if you made a spreadsheet with a calculation to increment a cell and repeated that however many you need, copy those cells and paste them into a story that is linked text boxes in the spot needed on the page, paste the text into the story and add pages as needed. The copied text will over set into each page.

MemberIf you.re using an updated version of Indesign, (I think) CC maintains separate installations of each version of Indesign. See if you can access the scripts by opening the previous version of Indesign. Or look in your computer for the support files. The files are probably there somewhere.

MemberI have exactly the same problem.
Did anyone ever find out what was causing this?

MemberCouldn’t you just search for Chinese within a style or only in footnotes? The find change dialogue allows you to limit to or include footnotes.
Or you could make the change within Word before you import into ID.

MemberNot sure if this is the same issue but when I copy paste Chinese text from Word sometimes the font gets screwed up. Check the numerals are in the correct font? You could also try experimenting with various Arabic fonts or make sure Indesign is using the same font that was working in Word.
