MemberHi, Claudio, thanks for responding.
At the time I asked, the website the client wanted the pdf links to go to wasn’t live, so I couldn’t test it on the actual site but could have, and should have tried it with another. When that site did go live, I did test it to various different pages within the same site, which is what they wanted, and it worked no problem.
That was the phrase Daivd used in his Essentials for 2017 In Design on Lynda — that all links would have to go to the same destination, and I was afraid that meant exact same url. Didn’t want to tell the client I could do that if I couldn’t. Maybe that was true of earlier versions but not now.

MemberWhere do TypeKit fonts fall in into this discussion, if at all? They are not embedded but my understanding is today almost all commercial printers have a TypeKit subscription so they would have all fonts from TypeKit and you’re safe using it. It makes me nervous though, I do a lot of work through a freelance site and clients don’t always share their printer’s contact information or even know who will print it at the time they contract for the design work.

MemberThank you so much — that’s a relief. Another related questions — they gave me a huge long url to link this button too — David’s demon on Lynda was just a simple .com. Would this one work?

MemberThank you so much. That will be so much easier on me too. Time marches on, and progress happens. A very good thing.

MemberThanks, I checked that out but I still don’t see a solution. I’ll have to live with it for the moment or until client complains about leading. That did give me an idea though, and I found I can make a text column in a new document and paste that into the problem doc and leading works normal on that so a workaround, if awkward.
Thanks so much for the help!

MemberWhere would I find that? I thought of that, but don’t see where to change it. I’d guess in the document settings as it happens even when I make my own text box. Sorry, suppose I should know this but I would really appreciate further direction. Thanks!

MemberI imagine as an individual pdf for each page — that’s what I did when I did this regularly, which was about 4 years ago. I’m taking over from a designer who left the company (I’m working remotely) and plan to ask the printer what they want. But from back then when I did this, I understood all printers wanted individual pdfs. Has that changed?
