Make sure the buttons are on the top layer and in front of everything else.

Maybe you could look for pdf/x4 settings. Then try to make the pdf again.

No problems on a win 7 machine with CC2019 (14.03) Copy paste table gives me the exact same table, on the same page or on another page, as standalone or copied in another text frame.

Multi Find and Change

We always leave the images “as is”. When outputting to print, we use pdf/x-4-CMYK (to be found on eci.org) option. That way no flattening, transparency is preserved.

It doesn’t hide the layer, it hides the frames that are labeled. Here’s a link, click on the NL or FR button on top and see the text change (color)

I just created two pdfs starting with a rgb image. I placed the image in Indesign and exported as a pdf with the required presets. As expected a colour shift is noticeable. I must admit, i don’t convert first into cmyk, I let the “flow” do it.
