MemberThe one I posted is still working fine in INDD 2020

MemberMaybe you could look for pdf/x4 settings. Then try to make the pdf again.

MemberDid you check in the preferences of INDD the settings of the clipboard handling? Make sure “all info” is checked.

MemberNo problems on a win 7 machine with CC2019 (14.03) Copy paste table gives me the exact same table, on the same page or on another page, as standalone or copied in another text frame.

MemberA possible way to go: create a character style in Word and create the same style in Indesign. That way INDD’s will be used on import.
You could also try to use Jongware’s preptext script.Gert Verrept

MemberWe always leave the images “as is”. When outputting to print, we use pdf/x-4-CMYK (to be found on eci.org) option. That way no flattening, transparency is preserved.

MemberIt doesn’t hide the layer, it hides the frames that are labeled. Here’s a link, click on the NL or FR button on top and see the text change (color)

Member@carlo: Can be done in Indesign. What you need to do is to add two buttons that are the “triggers”. Then make buttons (with distinctive names) for all the internal and external text. In the buttons panel, tell the “trigger” to show/hide those buttons you don’t need to see. ex. Clicking on “external” hides all the “internal” buttons. If you work with layers, make sure they are all visible.

MemberMasood,
I just created two pdfs starting with a rgb image. I placed the image in Indesign and exported as a pdf with the required presets. As expected a colour shift is noticeable. I must admit, i don’t convert first into cmyk, I let the “flow” do it.
