James FritzMemberHey Mohamed,
I think you called for me:) First off, thanks for the kind words. I am happy that I was able to help you with PDFs and SWFs.
I wish I could share more information with you about how to use the Overlay Creator, but the problem is that it is currently in beta. That means that I am not allowed to talk about it until it is shipping. This also means that no one (including me) will be putting out any videos on how to use these features until this software is released. And even if we could make videos, it would be silly to do it because everything changes so quickly. If I made a video about how to do a certain technique, the next week they might change that behavior and I would have to redo the video.
For the time being, if you have joined the beta for the Digital Publishing System you will probably have access to the forums where you should be able to ask questions and get help a particular problem that you may have. Like David said above, the PDF tutorial is quite good and should get you started.
Good luck!
James FritzMemberI also recommend that you check for updates for InDesign and your OS. Be sure to install everything and then restart.
Are you running the file locally or from a server? If your server is slow, that might slow down your work too.

James FritzMemberI agree with Roland that InDesign is not meant to completely create an entire website. However, there are some steps that you can take to get your file size smaller in the resulting SWF file.
1. If there are repeating elements, be sure to put them on a master page and do not override them. This way, they will be treated as symbols and the file size will be smaller.
2. If you have any video, link to the video instead of embedding it. This way the user can stream it on demand.
3. Use JPGS at actual 100% placed size. Photoshop can export much smaller JPGs than InDesign at better quality. If you use these optimized JPGS your site will hopefully be smaller.
However, if you really want to get your file size down you will want to export your layout to FLA and bring it into Flash Pro. From there you can use action-script and symbols to make a much smaller file.
James FritzMemberWell, there really is not much more you can do that what you already have tried. If someone zooms in, it will get pixelated. This is true of Photos and Video too.
James FritzMemberIf you change the properties of the navigation controller in the media panel, you can prevent people from viewing your video full screen. This way the video will always be played at 100%.
James FritzMemberThe video's quality should not be changing dramatically unless you are scaling the content. Be sure to place the video at 100% size. If you have scaled the video up, the quality would suffer.
James FritzMemberHey Lance.
There is nothing wrong with your file. Flash it kind of touchy about security and it wants to play it safe with web links when you export a SWF file and test it locally on your machine.
Your clients will never see this error. If you need to test your links, place it on a website and everything will work as expected. Otherwise, if you follow the directions in that dialog box you can setup a “trusted folder” on your desktop for testing all of your exported links.
I hope that helps you with your problem.

James FritzMember1. Create flush left text in a text frame
2. Create a new large text frame (the frame that you want the text to be centered in)
3. Copy and paste the flush left text frame into the big frame (it becomes an anchored object)
4. Insert a flush space before and after your pasted text frame (type > insert white space > flush space)
5. Select the paragraph and justify all lines
Now you can resize the frame and it will always be centered on the page.
James FritzMemberThose are bookmarks/hyperlink destinations.
James FritzMemberThis is a known bug. I brought this up during the beta and I was told that they (adobe) were aware of this limitation and were hoping to address it in a future version. If that means version 7.0.x or CS5 (8.0) I don't know.
It still can't hurt to file a bug report, if enough people complain they will have to fix it sooner (7.0.x) than later (8.0).
James FritzMemberChristina,
Your display performance is probably set to typical (which means it doesn't look as good, but the program runs quicker). To change this on just this image (illustrator file), select the image and go to View > Display Performance > High Quality Display. If you want everything to look High Quality all the time, close all of your documents and edit your preferences > display performance.

James FritzMemberCreating a report of style overrides will also work in CS4.
