MemberIt is not a good idea to apply several footnotes to ohne word. And I think that if you put the text of the respective footnotes in a single footnotes, InDesign will be able to handle it well.

MemberNo, I don’t think this is possible.

MemberI’m from Germany, so please forgive my English too. I downloaded your file, applied master page to new pages, placed new images within the properties, but the frames did not move. So I don’t know how I could help you with this issue. But I just wanted to say that you’ve done a really great work. I’m very impressed with what you have done. There is only one thing I would consider: Try to start working with different layers. It can be helpful with the stacking order.

MemberI think you can do this with Find and Replace. In the GREP tab you have to enter .+ in the Search field and in the replace field you have to enter your quotation marks and §0 between them. I think you cannot type it directly but you have to choose it from the menu that pops up by clicking on the @ symbol right beside the Search field. Be aware that the Find Replace is only applied for the selection and not for document or story.

MemberYou can apply the start of a new section on every page you like (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt52plh_iuw), but you can not apply more than one section to a single page.

MemberYou can’t do this with footnotes. But you can use endnotes where you can put the notes into separate text frames (in this case two chained text frames side by side). It may cost you some time to adjust the frames because InDeign will not do that automatically.

MemberDo you have a primary text frame on the master page?
Dieter Stockert
MemberSorry. “Strg” means “Steuerung”. that’s the german word for control.

MemberStrg + v + Shift

MemberDraw a rectangle in the size of your image. Then place the four rectangles for the edges and make sure these rectangles are placed behind. Now you can subtract the rectangles on the edges (Objects – Pathfinder). Then you can place an image within the remaining rectangle with the cutted edges.

MemberCould it be text that you only see in Word with change tracking on?

MemberYou need a text frame on top of the master page. There you can insert a text variable for running header (from the type menue). And in the definition of the running header variable you choose your paragraph style Section title. But be aware that InDesign looks for those variables as if they were a single character. InDesign will show all letters in one line inside the frame.
Dieter Stockert
MemberSearch and Replace: In the search field enter a dot. In the replace field enter a dot and choose “end of a paragraph” by clicking on the @-symbol, plus in the change format field select the paragraph style you want to apply.

MemberHello Mike, it sounds a little complicated at first glance, but it isn’t and I like that.
