David BlatnerKeymasterDoes it help if the paragraph Leading is set to Auto?
David BlatnerKeymasterYeah, that Search field is kinda clunky. I think it mostly searches our site, but Google inserts some of its own paid ads in there…?
Here’s my little InDesignSecrets secret: The way I search our site normally is to go to google and search for: searchterm site:indesignsecrets.com
When you add that site tag, it limits the search to just our site. :-)
Fortunately, we’re doing a massive site redesign that we hope to roll out next month, and the search is much, much better there.
David BlatnerKeymasterWe have some scripting articles here on the site, but my favorite resource right now is the ID scripting forum on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/639232573329900
Here’s some more articles: https://indesignsecrets.com/tag/javascript
David BlatnerKeymasterI suggest contacting the people at Indiscripts and see if you can see why it is not working.

David BlatnerKeymasterI’m so glad our work has been useful for you, and I’m so sorry to hear this job has turned into a nightmare. Sigh.
This might help?

David BlatnerKeymasterDid you try importing the Acrobat changes with File > Import PDF Comments?
Or are you saying that he actually edited the text inside the PDF file? That would be bad.
When you see the blank pages, did you look inside Edit > Edit with Story Editor? That would tell you if the text is really there, but not showing up.
David BlatnerKeymasterInDesignSecrets is very active, but sometimes the right person isn’t here to answer. :-)
Often you can find faster results on our Facebook page at fb.com/groups/indesignsecrets
I’ve never seen an itemized list for this process. We had a feature article in InDesign about fixed layout epub back in issue 67:

David BlatnerKeymasterAcrobat looks for text that looks like a hyperlink and turns them into hyperlinks automatically.
David BlatnerKeymaster@Filip: It probably depends on where you are looking. Do you see them if you look in View > Proof Setup > Custom…?
Sometimes they’re there and sometimes they’re gone… for example, if you export PDF to PDF/X1-a standard, you won’t see them. If you change the preset setting to remove the pdf/x1-a tag, then they show up. Tricky!
David BlatnerKeymasterThat does seem strange. But in general, it would be far better to apply a different paragraph style to the non-indented paragraphs. (Make one in Word that is based on the main style, but with no first line indent.)
David BlatnerKeymasterDoes this article help?
