David BlatnerKeymasterWell, there is a crazy trick that can work… and even more automatically than a paragraph style. Make a character style that does one thing: set the leading to zero. Now edit your paragraph style and give it a GREP Style that applies that character style. The grep code to use is simply \r (backslash r).
That will apply the character style to any paragraph that is empty (that is just a return character). And because the leading is zero, it will be as though the paragraph disappeared. (it will still be there, but it will take up no space.)
David BlatnerKeymasterIf you have all the images in a folder, you can import them quickly. Here’s how:

David BlatnerKeymasterAre you talking about the free templates from Adobe here?
https://creativepro.com/resources/indesign-templatesThey are not in another language; they’re just full of what’s called “Lorum Ipsum” — fake Latin that is used as filler text. You can swap that text out with your own.
David BlatnerKeymasterI haven’t seen anything new from Digital Editions (ADE) for a while. I agree that it’s kind of sad/frustrating.
David BlatnerKeymasterGreat idea… I’m not sure if there’s any way to do that. There are some third party spelling tools, such as:
https://www.mindsteam.com/products/mindspellpro/index.htmlIt’s like what you really want is a “phrase check”!
David BlatnerKeymasterNo, sorry.
David BlatnerKeymasterYes, button objects always sit on top of non-interactive objects. And often the newest (most-recently selected) button object will be top-most. I would recommend not overlapping buttons.
David BlatnerKeymasterWait a minute… I think perhaps you are talking about spot colors (not Lab colors)! You are saying that these spot colors do not print!
Do you want them to print as spot colors (on their own spot color plate)? Or do you want them to print as CMYK colors? If you want to make them CMYK, then choose Ink Manager* and specify spot-to-process there. Or you can alias the spot color to a different spot color there.
*Ink Manager appears in many places in InDesign, including the Swatches panel and the EPS Export dialog box (inside the Advanced tab).
David BlatnerKeymasterWhat happens if you edit the color swatch (in InDesign’s swatches panel) and change the mode to CMYK instead of Lab?
I know it’s not a great solution, but it would be interesting to know if it works. Also, check your eps export dialog box settings. For example, perhaps ASCII data works better than binary? And try Leave Unchanged for Color?
David BlatnerKeymasterIf your printer has different paper sizes, then you often need to choose which paper to use in the printer driver dialog box (different than InDesign’s print dialog box). So in the print dialog box, you click Printer (or Print Setup).
David BlatnerKeymasterI’m not sure what you mean by “the default LAB color.” Lab is not the default for colors in InDesign. Are you referring to color swatches defined with Lab (pretty rare!) or exporting EPS files from InDesign using Lab color?
David BlatnerKeymasterUnfortunately, due to security and file sizes, we do not allow people to upload images directly to the forum. We recommend that people upload an image to flickr or image shack or dropbox or something like that and just post the URL here.
David BlatnerKeymasterHuh?! The interface is lighter? Isn’t everything darker?
Or are you talking about images and colors on your page?
David BlatnerKeymasterNope. It’s terrible. Very frustrating.
Or, a happy way to think of it: Consider it a good opportunity to re-think your preferences, shortcuts, and so on. Any changes you’d want to make? :)
David BlatnerKeymasterYeah, InDesign has trouble with that sometimes. You might try to make the Bottom text wrap (in the text wrap panel) set to a small negative number.
It’s similar to this, though easier to fix because this one is about circular paths:
