David BlatnerKeymasterYes, it’s great! Thanks for pointing out that 2.0 is out.

David BlatnerKeymasterSounds super frustrating. When I have run into this, it is almost always:
* Text wrap
* Keep OptionsIf you use the Selection tool to drag the text frame out on to the pasteboard, does it change anything?
David BlatnerKeymasterTry choosing from the pages panel menu: Master Pages > Remove All Local Overrides. Does that do it?
David BlatnerKeymasterNo, animations don’t work on buttons, and they don’t work in interactive pdf. (Well, they kind of can, but they’re really for Flash right now.)
David BlatnerKeymasterMake sure you’re exporting as PDF (interactive) not PDF (print).
Make sure you’re using Acrobat, not some other PDF reader.

David BlatnerKeymasterI’m not a scripter, so I’ll leave that question for someone else. But you know that InDesign CS6 and CC have Auto-Fit for text frames now, right? In the Text Frame Options dialog box.
David BlatnerKeymasterIt does sound a bit like a bug, though it may be in the document not ID. What if you save as IDML and then open the IDML in CC again?

David BlatnerKeymasterWhere did you buy it from? I’m guessing that it is an applescript of some sort.
There are other tools out there, such as:

David BlatnerKeymasterWow, no I don’t know what could be going on there. I see it, too. But it only happens when there is a dot (period) in the button name, I think!
David BlatnerKeymasterNot sure if this helps, but: https://creativepro.com/book-panel-shows-wrong-page-number-fixed.php
David BlatnerKeymasterMake sure you recovered the INDD file, not the IDLK file.
But if it is corrupted, it will be difficult to recover. You can try PageZephyr or one of the tools at markzware.comOctober 2, 2013 at 10:25 am in reply to: Scripts to resize images to 100% for Creative Cloud? #65608
David BlatnerKeymasterInteresting that the script no longer works. Do you get the sense that Photoshop is breaking it, or InDesign?
I don’t use any scripts like that. I don’t worry about getting it exactly 100%, but I do agree that it still important to get close. I try to be within 10 or 20% or so of the size on page. The main reason is that when InDesign downsamples the image (at print or pdf export time) high res images can get blurry, and usually require a bit of sharpening.

David BlatnerKeymasterAh, interesting. No, I don’t know of anything like that. Yes, I’m sure a script could be written, though!

David BlatnerKeymasterHm… no, I think InDesign works the way you want it to. If you give a paragraph .25″ space after, and then the next paragraph .25″ space before, then you have .5″ between them. No?

David BlatnerKeymasterAre you talking about pdf form buttons? Other buttons? Not sure what hierarchy you’re talking about.
