David BlatnerKeymasterAs Tim said: the dots line up starting at the right edge. So no, there’s no “fix” for making them match on the left (if you use tab leaders). This is how it has always worked and bazillions of books have been set that way.
However, you could probably find other ways to create the dot leaders, such as inserting an anchored frame, or an anchored line.

David BlatnerKeymasterI can copy and paste a formatted table (with table formatting and text formatting) with no problem in CC 2019. I wonder what else could be going on? Maybe reset preferences?
David BlatnerKeymasterAlso, if you’re adventurous, this is interesting news about the recent beta: https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601021-adobe-indesign-feature-requests/suggestions/20544646-vertical-lines-between-text-frame-columns

David BlatnerKeymasterHi Paul! Which tool are you talking about? The “ExportAllStories.jsx” file is still in the Scripts panel. Not sure about Rorohiko’s plug-in.
David BlatnerKeymasterErica Gamet described a couple ways to achieve that effect in the October issue of InDesign Magazine:

David BlatnerKeymasterSomething must be wrong because if you use the Registration color, it always shows up on ALL plates, including process and spot colors. And if you use the crop marks in the PDF export or Print dialog boxes, they always show up on ALL plates.

David BlatnerKeymasterThe black and white default you get with the letter “D” cannot be changed (I think?!)
But you can use object styles to apply formatting quickly.
Also here is an article to read about default settings:

David BlatnerKeymasterI don’t know of anything, but if something exists (or could be written), it would likely be from one of these companies:
David BlatnerKeymasterExcellent point, Ken!
(We are starting to use MasterPlan here at InDesignSecrets, and it’s cool!)
David BlatnerKeymasterYup, wherever you are logged in, you can publish. I agree that Adobe should make this more clear.
