David BlatnerKeymasterI wonder if it’s a font version issue, similar to this one:

David BlatnerKeymasterOh, and also, if you’re trying to auto-thread a bunch of frames together, don’t forget Text Stitch: https://www.rorohiko.com/wordpress/indesign-downloads/textstitch/

David BlatnerKeymasterI suppose you could do a grep search for
(.)\Zand replace with$1~R
That would search for the last character in the story then replace it with the same character plus a frame break character. That way, if you later thread the frames together, the text would stay in their same frames, right?
David BlatnerKeymasterMaybe a plug-in could add a tool to the toolbar, but I don’t recall seeing that in a while. I think your co-worker may be thinking of Illustrator.
As for making charts, Jason Hoppe wrote a terrific article about that in issue 126:

David BlatnerKeymasterThe right indent tab picks up the leader from the previous tab stop. Just change the paragraph style to add a tab stop with a leader. See:

David BlatnerKeymasterThere’s not a lot of detailed information out there. You can find some information at epubsecrets.com and also some information in the EPUB courses by Anne-Marie Concepcion at LinkedIn Learning (nee Lynda.com)
As for those mysterious fonts, I would check every and all paragraph and character style. The Calibri is probably something that came from an imported Word doc. Minion Pro is part of Basic Paragraph Style.
David BlatnerKeymasterYou could use the MakeGrid script that ships with InDesign, and just set the gutter to zero, I guess:

David BlatnerKeymasterChange the footnote paragraph style to have a positive left indent, and also a negative first line indent.
David BlatnerKeymasterI have not seen any script to do this. But perhaps there is a way to set up some kind of action or hot folder or something for Acrobat… so you can just export all the pages from InDesign as JPG and the action would quickly turn them into a single pdf.
David BlatnerKeymasterAre you trying to use an automatic numbered paragraph? If so, the paragraph must include at least one character (such as a space).
I wrote about something similar here:

David BlatnerKeymasterSorry for the problems, Jose. I am not sure why your replies were caught for moderation. I hope it is fixed now.
David BlatnerKeymasterNo script necessary! Check out the Preflight panel:
