MemberChris:
Perhaps the Page Exporter Utility script could be of help, that’s how I typically export single-page PDFs. I don’t recall if it works with CC, but I know it works through CS6 (I used it just this week). The file naming options have always baffled me a bit, but I just use Bridge to batch rename if need be.
I find it helpful to export one page manually using the desired job options and NOT having the PDF open in Acrobat Pro to preview (but do check it manually before the next step). Then run the script on the balance. Why? Because if preview was checked on the last PDF exported, once the script is running Acrobat will open every PDF as it’s created. It can get kind of messy.
Good luck

MemberAlex,
Tell us about the document itself. What’s in it? Did you happen to place another PDF within the document?
Bob Rubey
MemberAre you printing the PDF from Acrobat Pro? It has its own marks setting that can be turned on/off. Click on the Advanced button in the print dialog to check. But I don’t think that would explain the bleed…

MemberThis is way out of my comfort zone, but after reading the alert message, this is my take.
The 8.0 version of InDesign is CS6. Thus the plug-in, as stated, appears incompatible with CC (v.9). Did you copy the plug-ins from CS6 to CC, or did CC ask if you wanted to import your presets or plug-ins from CS6 when you launched CC early on? Honestly, I don’t remember InDesign prompting me about an import, but Photoshop certainly does so.
I’d take a look through your CC plug-ins folders and try to locate and remove that plug-in. Hopefully I’m not just releasing a bunch of hot air.

MemberTony,
Assuming four panels each side, I’d say you have it set up perfectly. Just enter the bleed value in the document setup. You’re using an accordion fold, so you shouldn’t need to shorten any panels. (If you did, that’s a job for the Page Tool.) When you export (or print), just indicate spreads for each group of four panels and use InDesign’s trim marks, they’ll suffice for fold marks.
The artwork place in a new 2-page document just seems ancient past to me.

MemberI don’t use it myself, but I think you might want to take a look at Conditional Text: https://creativepro.com/finally-conditional-text.php
And Kelly Vaughn may be a willing and helpful resource: https://documentgeek.com/

MemberHi Gary,
I wish I had thought of setting up that shortcut ages ago, and you can do it.
You probably got tripped up thinking it should be a View menu item, but it’s the Object menu item(s) you want to make the assignment to, and if you think about it, it makes sense. Whatever shortcut you choose will be listed in the contextual menu afterward. Don’t forget to make a second shortcut to take you back to the original view settings.

MemberIn the Graphics | Images portion of your print dialog, try changing your Send Data choice, probably to All.
This assumes the image isn’t low-res or enlarged too much.

MemberWell, you can get somewhat close by applying an outer glow effect.
Normal mode, 100% opacity. Precise technique, 0% noise, 100% spread. Size and color as you like.
Certainly not perfect.

MemberThanks David. That one was bugging me as well. For Windows 7 users, go to Control Panel > Personalization > Window Color then in the resulting Window Color and Appearance panel choose Selected Items from the Item drop-down, change Color 1 to something of your choosing, and Apply.

MemberYes, I received the same message when I could check it on a Mac. However, it does work with other applications such as TextEdit, Preview, and Print Window.

MemberWell, as a function of the Mac OS, you can “print” to PDF. I wish a scaling option was available for exporting PDFs. Don’t need to do so often, but when it occurs, it’s a pet peeve.

Works with CS6. Will find the panel under Windows > Extensions.

MemberNot ideal perhaps, but there is a Web browser panel plug-in named tomaxxiBrowse. Google it.

Membertice2001,
The forum/text wrap thing is a Firefox problem. It doesn’t happen with Chrome or Opera and I assume others.
