Update to InDesign Plug-in for Publishing to the iPad
Aquafadas has developed a plug-in for Adobe InDesign that let you create interactive publications for the iPad and other tablets, and for smart phones. The plug-in is still in beta, but you can join the pre-release program if you’re an early adopter.
A few caveats: You can create files for free, but you must pay Aquafadas to publish the content. In addition, the plug-in is currently available only for the Mac OS. Aquafadas says that a Windows version is coming soon.
Here’s what’s new in version 0.9 of the InDesign plug-in:
• Ability to create vertical formats for the iPad
• Profile management and generation by profile
• Additional types of enrichment (360°, Image Compare, more)
• Additional test functions in myKiosk
• More
For more about the plug-in, go to the FAQ page.
