Typographic Rugs Are Real Treasures

Linus Dean is a graphic designer, but he’s also a fine artist. Now this Syndey-based Kiwi has woven the two together to produce a beguiling series of typographic rugs that harken back to hand-drawn signs. Each rug is named for a city.

The silk and wool rugs are woven by hand by Tibetan and Nepalese artisans. You can customize the size and materials to work with your space. I have a feeling the prices are high, but I can’t tell you exactly — the Linus Dean website just says to email for a quote.
