Typographic Letterpress Poster

The Typography Deconstructed letterpress poster is the result of several months of research both on the subjects of the Anatomy of Type and Type Glossary. Inspired by the craft of letterpress printing and a love for typography, Typography Deconstructed aims at providing a resource for educating those interested in what makes type… well, type. Each poster has a comprehensive list of typographical terms with each term being represented by the anatomy of the letter that best describes it visually.
So whether it be used as a resource for students wanting to learn more about type or simply for all you type lovers out there, Typography Deconstructed aims to please
anyone.
Each $100 poster is printed on Crane Lettra Pearl paper and is 16″ x 24″ in size.

The Typography Deconstructed (TypeDecon) website was built out of frustration and concern for the lack of information on the subject of typography in one place. There are lots of resources both online and in books (some very good) that provide helpful information when it comes to learning what a certain typographical term means or visually seeing the anatomy of type. We built TypeDecon as a resource to bring all of this information into one place to build a very strong resource when it comes to the topic of typography, both the Anatomy of Type and Type Glossary.
Typography Deconstructed is a division of 38pages, LLC.
