      Hello everybody,

I’m experiencing more or less the same problem as others. Having a discolored box around my images. The problem is that I’ve sent it for printing and at no point the problem was spotted and then came the mail from the printer, that there is this box around my pictures. So yes, I’ve tried flattening the transparencies, there is no spot color used … I’m kind of desperate, I need the visuals to be printed as we need them for our exposition next week. I’ll post a picture of the problem (if I manage to). Furthermore, I can even post the InDesign file, if needed.

Thank you very much for your help.

What is the format of the image you placed? You have colour space/profile mismatch.

The image in the middle, save as PSD and create a clipping path.

Dear Steve, I’ve tried it, and it seems to work on my office printer there is no longer a box. I’ll send the new file to the printer, but I’m confident. :) Thank you for your rapid help. Best regards

Just want to be sure you saw this old (but good) article:
