      I am trying my first XML & InDesign project and I am having a problem.

      I've read and done the tutorials from A Designer's Guide to Adobe InDesign and XML and everything works with the tutorials. The problem is when I try to do my own data with static text.

      Quite simply it doesn't happen; all I get is my XML data and each tag is on a single line with a paragraph return at the end.
      Anyone have any pointers for me or ideas? i look forward to anyone's response.

      Are you looking solution for paragraph mark (line break) at end of each paragraph? If yes please break the paragraph in XML file and then flow.

      Bala, I wish I could upload a pic to show what I am trying to get.

      Basically I have a couple of tags, then a tab with a leader then a dollar amount with a return at the end. On the next lines some information with a tab then a dollar amount, ending with a return.

      So you are saying the return has to be in the field in the database that is exported out to XML?
