hello,
I would like to get a journal in xml form into an indesign layout I created. I created the xml so that every day of the journal is one tag. the text of one day is longer than one page of the layout so the text flows to the next pages. I already figured out how to assign the tags from the xml to the frames in indesign and how to flow the text over multiple pages.
this process works great if all pages should look the same (have the same layout), but I want that the first page, of every day in the journal, has a different layout than the pages where the text flows after the first one is full.
I already have set up the masterlayouts for the different situations, but I don’t know how to flow the text from one masterlayout to another and repeat the last one and assign this structure of the xml hierarchy.
