Hi, this is my first topic in this wonderful website

      Here’s my (burning) question:
I have a client that has to switch from qxp to indd (CC15).
They produce technical manuals and are used to anchoring images at the beginnig of text paragraps, having the text wrap around the images (which differ in sizes!)
There’s already a thread in this forum that started in 2010 (WRAPPING TEXT AROUND AN ANCHORED OBJECT) that addresses this issue using a clever workaround.
I.e placing the respective image in an empty paragraph with .1 leading preceding the text paragraph. Thus the text wrap also moves the first line of the paragraph.
But since their documents are handled by many (even Indesign novices) people, this will not work for them.

Now I wonder: has anything happened since 2010?
Since this is a crucial issue within the switching process, I’d be more than glad to hear of a solution (even Scripts-solutions are welcome!)

AND: great forums, great site, thanks for all the effort!

Christian, we are sorry that your message disappeared. Something about the message triggered it to require moderation. (Maybe the ALL CAPS?) I published it now.

No, there is no change in InDesign’s behavior. This continues to be an annoying problem.

It is possible that a script could move the object up to a blank line before the paragraph.
