Worst Indesign File Crash Error

      I am currently working on an annual report (about 70% done) on my laptop (windows – Indesign CS6).

      I got to work today, packaged the file to be moved to my desktop, on transferring the packaged folder to my desktop, the document can’t be opened (even on Indesign CC 2017).

      The version on my laptop too couldn’t be opened again.

      I can’t even get to a point of exporting to idml.

      Please what can be done?

      Could be a cache problem on the laptop. Close Indesign and look for the cache folder and rename it (so a new cache is created). Try opening the file again.
