Windows activates “last application” after running a script in InDesign

      Hi friends,
can someone explain me why sometimes (almost always) Windows switches to the application used just before InDesign, after running a JavaScript code in InDesign? Example: let’s say I am in Chrome. Now I switch to InDesign, and run a script. After the script finished Windows returns to Chrome instead of staying in InDesign. Is it a bug, or do I make some mistake? A few versions eralier I didn’t experience this behaviour…
      Thx
      Tamás

Maybe this annoying thing happens only if a Dialog was used in the script to get the neccessary parameters. But earlier it didn’t mean a problem.

I haven’t seen that problem on my Mac. I wonder if its Windows only? All scripts? Or just some?

Hi David, I work in Windows, on a PC. As far as I remember this thing appeared only when the script used a Dialog window.

By the way how could I attach a photo to my account? I didn’t find any means in my account settings. :D

What if I sent you an InDesign template and a script that was made to set the date, the page number and the title of that page in the header?

I believe we use gravatar.com to manage photos… can you try that?

I’m not sure what you mean about sending me the script. I generally don’t test things like that, sorry. :-)
