Why do my questions disappear?

      I have sought help three times the last few days, and when I go in to read any responses, my questions are gone. They aren’t even showing in my profile. What’s up?

      Argh! I’m so sorry to hear this. We’ve switched to a new forum software and we’ve had a huge number of problems with it. I HATE losing work, even forum posts, so I sympathize. We hope to have this resolved very soon and be back on track next week.

      The forum link has gone from the front page, there is no access to past posts and I had a forum entry disappear.
      It does seem to be rather broken.

      Hm! Try reloading the web page (cmd/ctrl-R). The Forum link was removed for a short time (while the developers were working on it), but I see it now.

      That said, I am concerned that we may lose some of these newer forum threads in an effort to get the old threads back. We’ll see… fingers crossed that we can keep both!

      Yeah, that loss has happened to at least three of my recent questions. They aren’t even showing in the summary of what I’ve asked. lol. Darn.

      Doodlebug, they did a lot of under the hood work to the forums this week, I’m so sorry that you’ve lost the posts! That’s really bad. The devs didn’t say anything like “tell people not to post this week” and there *are* other posts showing up, so it makes me wonder.

      Would you try posting another forum post, even a test one, again, and then emailing me (at info@indesignsecrets.com) a link to the post? That way, if/when it disappears, we can see if the logs show anything with that URL.
