I use ProLexis, a plug-in that searches and replaces characters for proper typesetting in French. I want to replace its default nonbreaking space (the one with fixed width, which doesn’t work well in justified text) with a regular nonbreaking space in its Preferences, but it asks for an ASCII value. Where can I find an ASCII table? Will this nonbreaking space be included in the table?

It is strange that it would ask for an ASCII character… can you type a Unicode number instead?

According to this ASCII table: 32 is a normal space, 255 is the non-breaking space
      https://www.theasciicode.com.ar/extended-ascii-code/non-breaking-space-no-break-space-ascii-code-255.html

      Hope it helps

Their website at https://www.prolexis.com/correction-de-la-typographie says it does Unicode, and the user manual at sections 2.2, 2.3 covers different width spaces and shows Unicode values in the screenshots.

Looks like an interesting tool to have in the toolbox.
