All – I post this not simply to display my idiocy but to flag a potential problem – which may or may not be down to user error.
I've set up a style “a) List” to create a) b) c) letter points. In order to have a little more space after the list I duplicated this to create “a) List Last Line” and increased the space after.
I've been working with this document for months with no problem. However, today, I noticed that one of the “a) List Last Line” paragraphs had hyphenated the last word – so I decreased the amount of hyphenation (I know there's a check box to stop this but that's what I did). As this was on my final check through for this latest (fortunately) draft and I immediately exported to a pdf.
I've just noticed the all of the “a) List Last Line” paras have switched to numbers – so I have a b c 4 and a b c d e 5 lists! The style is still set to an abc list, it hasn't flipped over to a number style. The version I pdf'd the night before is all correct.
I've just put turned off “Hyphenate last word”, reapplied the style a couple of times and lo and behold its corrected itself throughout the document.
I've tried to recreate the error to no avail.
So – idiocy/glitch/user error? I've no idea but probably worth letting you all know – just in case.
Kind regards
Scott
