      Hi Everyone!!

I am new here – fairly new to using InDesign and need your help. I am making an e-book which will sit on our website as an SWF file (as a page flipping book) and also be in available PDF version which people can download.

My question relates to the SWF file. There will be 5 videos in our e-book and which work fine in the PDF file, however the video’s within the SWF file only play on my computer. I’ve since figured out that is because the SWF file links to the video’s on my computer and when exported to SWF save the video’s under a separate folder called resources.

My question is how do I get these video’s to play once the SWF file is placed on our website or anyone elses computer for that matter? I’ve tried putting it on USB (along with the resouces)and playing on other computers but it doesn’t work. Our website gives us the option to upload a SWF file but I don’t know where to put the resources and how to link the file too them.

I would be very grateful for any advice anyone can give.

      Many Thanks,

      BooBoo

I thought we had something on the site about this a long time ago, but now I cannot find it. It has to do with the Resources folder, as you mentioned, which needs to be in the same directory as the swf file.
