      Hi guys,
long time listener, first time caller (if you get the fudged film quote – well done)

I am a one man band Mac user in a rather large, PC oriented, networked company, and it’s safe to say that the Mac HATES the PC network it’s linked up to.
I can’t connect to Creative Cloud app without unplugging the network cable, which then means I can’t use the Mac properly – which as you can imagine is absolutely infuriating.

I’m calling upon any designers, in a company environment, who use a PC network, to tell me how they’ve got around this problem. Even our IT department has no experience with Macs, so it’s up to me to find out how to make this work!

thanks in advance. I will be one happy lady if I can find even a shred of help on this.

      Hi,

I hope you’re getting off-list answers from others who are “in the know,” so to speak.

You’ve not given us information about your current Mac settings or your office’s PC network environment (Windows, Linux, etc). Anyone who wants to help would need that info.

This document might be helpful to your IT department, even though it’s UK based.

I’m an end-user who works in an office that uses Macs and PC’s with a mostly PC network. Properly set up, it can and does work. Hopefully your IT department and management team is willing to support your efforts.

You don’t need to be connected to a network to use your CC apps, unless you’re using Typekit to access Adobe fonts or Adobe Stock. Hope this helps a little.

      Isaiah
