Update order – InDesign CC or OSX?

      At work I’m running InDesign CC (2015) & OS X El Capitan. I have updates available for both. Is there a preferred order as to which to update first – ID or OSX?
      Seem like I read something at one point about updating one before the other, but after a couple of quick Google searches, didn’t find anything definitive.

      Just want to do all I can to minimize stuff “whacking” out.

      Any feedback/input is much appreciated!
