OK, here’s an odd one. My W2P solution is sending me back a production PDF that has removed all overprint settings from the original template. Is there a way to impose these PDF’s and produce separations that will ignore the default Adobe behavior to knockout overlapping spot colours?

This sounds a bit like an Acrobat question, not an InDesign question… yes? My guess is that you’ll need to check on an acrobat forum, or check with W2P (don’t know what that is) and see why it’s removing overprints.

Actually it’s an InDesign… Acrobat… then InDesign again issue. I was hoping there was a setting in the print dialogue that might allow you to honour/simulate the overprint. I have a post in at the acrobat printing and prepress forum as well.

      Sorry… “Web to Print”

And their reasoning is that the text from the template is replaced when the variable copy is entered.
