Unable to select and delete form field

      I am creating an accessible document in InDesign CC 2017. Somehow, I created a form field that is 1 pixel. Somehow I also tagged it so it shows up in Object>Interactive>Set tab order.

      I know exactly where it is and I can see it when I select all (cmd a). But, when I try to isolate the selection with a marquee selection, it is nowhere to be found. It is not on the master page or a separate layer.

      How can I select only this pesky little thing and nothing else and then delete it?

      One idea is to look in the Layers panel. If you have more than one layer, then when you select-all (cmd-a) match the color of the object with the layer color. Then click the triangle to the left of the layer and look for the object. Click the right column in the panel to select the object.
