Hi!
I am creating a Table of Contents in an e-pub and I have selected the “Make text anchor in source paragraph” checkbox in order to have my menu items link to the appropriate section of the e-pub. This is working fine for most of the menu items. However, some of my menu items link to titles in the text that have both a paragraph AND a character style applied to them (for design purposes, client wants a two coloured title in the layout). When I export to e-pub, Indesign gives me an error message :
“The file was exported but one or more problems were detected:
TOC text anchor : 1 missing”
In this case, the menu item is split in half: one half links to the appropriate section, and the other is just regular text.
I tried creating a second paragraph style in a different colour and applying it to the first section of the title, but when I export the document to e-pub Indesign splits the title in two and creates two anchors.
Any ideas as to how I could fix that?
Thanks!
Morgane
Example of how the titles are currently set up:
[paragraph style: title] [character style: red title] FOR MORE [end of character style: red title] INFORMATION [end of paragraph style: title]
