Trying to get my EPUB to open on the cover and first page in Apple Books

      Currently, my EPUB file is opening in Apple Books like this:

      I would like my EPUB to open like this:

      The reason is, is that Microsoft book readers open the book as shown in the second image, but Apple Books opens it as shown in the first image. My recipes are show on 2 pages with the book “spine” in the center. So in Apple Books everything is off by one page because it just shows the cover first and then the next two pages have the “spine” between them.

      Go in the settings and make the first page a 1 page spread.
      The other pages keep the same. Hope this helps!
