    I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue regarding videos and Indesign docs.

    I’m trying to display videos in my indesign doc that I want to eventually export to an interactive PDF.
    I’ve saved my imovie videos as .mov files and placed them in.
    They work fine in the preview, but as soon as I export the doc to an interactive PDF they are gone- I see only a blank space (this is on my macbook).
    When I view the exported PDF on my PC, they appear and are viewable.
    Why will they not show on my mac?

    Is there a video format that will work on both mac and pc?

    Or, is it possible to place Youtube videos into my indesign doc (CS5) that will work on both my mac and PC when I export them to an interactive PDF?

    Any ideas/ help would be greatly appreciated!

    Make sure you’re exporting as PDF (interactive) not PDF (print).
    Make sure you’re using Acrobat, not some other PDF reader.
