trouble with styles from Word document

      I try to place a .doc or .docx document and to give the text Paragraph Styles.
      In the paragraph styles window it shows the new style but the formatting of this style will not apply.
      It’s as like the Word style sticks to it, I tried changing the import options but nothing helped besides discarding all formatting which is not good for me as I need the differences in order to search/replace with paragraph styles
      Any ideas?

      Either change the Word style to what you want, or Find/Replace the Word Style to your new Style.

      Thanks for trying to help me,
      I did that, it shows in the Paragraph Styles as it is attributed to my style but it doesn’t get any of the attributes of my style,

      I found the problem!! It had a character style that came from word!!
      Thanks anyway!
