    So, I open a current ID file. All fonts are working in that file. I select some text, Helvetica 45 light, and change it to 55 Roman. Nothing happens…nothing. Although 55 Roman is being use in another text box and working fine.

    I reselect and apply 55 Roman to the 45 light again…nothing. Then I change the 45 light to a completely different family…Bodoni. That worked. Then I reselect the Bodoni change it to the 55 Roman, now it worked. 55 roman now displays.

    This problem is not just with Helvetica, but with any font. I have to go through these steps often just to change a weight inside a typeface. But, it is not always so, 75% of the time it all works as it should.
