I have created a Table of Contents for a document that I am working on and the Table of Contents has two different kinds of entries in it. Content that comes from the main linked text frames in the document and then content that I have set on an invisible layer that needs to appear interspersed with the other content in the document.

      Here is the strange part:
      – This is working perfectly on all ODD numbered pages in the document. My heading from the top of the page appears above, and the content from the invisible frame appears below.
      – On all EVEN pages, the content from the invisible frame (which is lower on the page) appears above the heading, despite the fact that it is lower on the page.

The invisible frames are located in the EXACT same place on all pages. I’ve read a number of forum posts and tested a number of different locations on the page, to be sure that my main text frame is being seen by InDesign first.

It really seems to be narrowed down to behavior that is related to ODD pages vs EVEN pages or LEFT pages vs RIGHT pages. Would appreciate any insight people have.

      Thanks.
