As usual i am sure there is an easy answer. How can you find out the tint values that have been used in areas of a document. A customer is insisting that they have set all of their rows to 30% and i need to check this

You need to check in Acrobat? Or InDesign? You should be able to use the Separation Preview panel in InDesign, or the Output Preview panel in Acrobat to check tints and colors.
