      Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone knows why, and if there’s a way to turn off, the tiny shift that happens when you double click a text frame so it is flush to text. For example I have a paragraph set align left, rag right – when i bring up the bottom edge, nothing is affected, but whenever I bring in the right edge, a few of the words in the longest sentence get shifted over slightly to the left. what’s this about?

      thanks!

In my tests, the text doesn’t actually shift. I usually see a small change on screen on some (but not all) letters on the line, but I’m 99% sure that it’s just a screen redraw issue. Are you sure things are actually changing?

Thanks, No, I’m not certain. That’s a good point – I’ll have to test with exports and prints to see if its actually shifting. Yes, it usually just shifts the kerning between two words.
