Test validation of epubs

      I am new to InDesign / EPUb world. I hope someone can help.

      I do have ePub Checker on my Mac to validate my ePubs.
      But I have to add a lot of custom code with the help of a 3rd party ebook authoring software.
      I would like to test validate one chapter with Apple’s own validation process, and if it’s ok then work on the other chapters.

      Question:
      – Is there a way to test upload and test validate an ePub to Apple but NOT publish it?
      – I need to avoid uploading via Apple Pages or iBook Author due to custom widgets, large size etc. How do I upload without these softwares?
