I have a long table (90 rows) which I need to split into two frames to fit into space allocated (2 frames, 45 rows each)

I'd like to use Alternate Fills to make it a little more interesting, and I'd like the fill pattern to match in both frames (odd rows blue, even rows white). However, as the two frames have odd numbers of rows, I have a blue row at the top in one frame, and a white row at the top in the other.

Is there any way to do this automatically, as the next job has an even longer table to deal with (300+ rows)!

      Any ideas much appreciated!

I have the same problem ie. is it possible to get the alternate row fill to automatically begin again when you have an odd number of rows split between adjacent frames? Without it, you get a kind of chequered effect which – I think – can only be fixed manually.

      Cheers.

You could try “smartstyles” from Woodwing. You can test it for 30 days. Works just fine and is easy to learn.
