      Hey everyone,

Sunday I updated to Sierra. I am running in to a particularly odd thing now, and since my OS update is the only thing that has changed recently, I’m getting a bit suspicious. I’m running CS5.5 with the legacy Java patch. This comes in two parts.

      1) I can’t seem to paste data from a Word or Excel table into a Indesign table like I normally did. When pasting to an Indesign table with the exact same amount of cells, the data should fill out the entire table. Now it will only paste all data to the first cell.(I posted a topic about this a few years ago: https://creativepro.com/topic/simple-pasting-into-tables-from-excel).

      2) Another odd thing, I imported a Word doc, that includes some tables. When I apply a table style, absolutely nothing happens, and there are no style overrides. My table style is quite simple, just includes some alternate row fills, but these fills don’t appear. I feel this might be related to other table shenanigans, possibly caused by Sierra.

Any ideas? Anyone had similar problems since upgrading?

Hard to know what’s going on, but I strongly suggest rebuilding your preferences:
