      I have a file with about 100 pages and headers on each page. Most of these headers are repeated through 2 or 3 pages.
      Is there a way to only show the first page in the Contents page rather than having them repeated such as:

      ALDERBRIDGE….1
      ALDERBRIDGE….2
      ALDERBRIDGE….3
      BRIDGETON……4
      BRIDGETON……5
      BRIDGETON……6

      To be more like this:

      ALDERBRIDGE….1
      BRIDGETON……4

      Either that or like this:

      ALDERBRIDGE….1-3
      BRIDGETON……4-6

      Thanks.

      Hi gprovan

      One way might be to have 2 duplicate paragraph styles for the headings. Identical styles except you name one of them “First mention” and use it only on the first instance of that heading. Then when you select which styles are listed in the table of contents, select that style but NOT the second one. You should get your first option;

      ALDERBRIDGE….1
      BRIDGETON……4

      Hope this helps
