      I am trying to create this table, but if i do the row and column stokes on the table level, when i create cell style for my text, it messes up the stroke on the table level. i really would like to create the table with cell, paragraph and table styles so i can save them for future projects. i can’t include the diagram but i can send it to you if you like.

      Right: cell styles override the table styles. If you don’t want the cell style to override the table style’s fills and strokes, then you can leave them blank in the cell style. This is analogous to how character styles and paragraph styles work in InDesign.
