Hello–
I have created an Interactive PDF that includes two SWFs. One SWF was created within InDesign (this one works each and every time). The other was created in Flash using ActionScript 3.0.
The challenge I'm having is that sometimes it works inside the PDF, and other times, I just receive the five black dots that continually are loading. I have tested this on Acrobat and Reader 9 and X (and this inconsistency occurs in each).
Since I'm worried I'm missing a step, let me identify the process(es) I've tried:
1. In InDesign, place the Flash-built SWF into the InDesign file.
2. I set it to play on Page Load and don't use a Poster. (I've also tried having it stay in the default click to activate mode as well…to no success).
3. Export the Interactive PDF with the following settings:View after Export, Embed Page Thumbnails, Fit Page View, Single Page Layout, Enable All Buttons and Media and Page Transitions from Document.
I have also tried leaving a placeholder for the swf and add it in Acrobat using the Flash tool with advanced settings set to Enable when Page is opened, Disable when Page is Closed, and a transparent background.
I'm not sure what to test or if I'm missing a step. Help would be most appreciated.
