SWF With Sound Triggering Page Turns

I recently had a great time creating some if SWF files in InDesign that has music which plays while you to follow the written musical score (with those ultra cool page turns):

I wanted to have the pages automatically turn when the music reaches the end of each page but couldn’t figure out a way to set that up in InDesign. I know it can be done in Flash Professional. Adobe Sound Booth even gives you a way to add ActionScript cue points so when you bring the sound into flash you can use them to trigger actions such as page turns.

Is there a way to do this in InDesign?

I don't know of any way to do this. Sorry!

      Thanks David,

Is there any way to put a time designation on when you want a page turn to happen? So like, you hit a button and 15 seconds after that action the page turns.

I really appreciate this service. Trying to find answers to these kinds of questions is nearly impossible looking in the help file.

      Jay,

That is really cool. I'd love to know how you did that in InDesign? I have a web project in mind that is perfectly suited for that action.

Are you using CS5 or CS4…? I've been playing around with some of that functionality myself, but nothing as good as yours.

      Nice work.

      Thanks Sewollef,

I used CS5. I was trying to come up with a project where I could play with the new interactive features in CS5. Since all the really hard work was done: the arrangement, the notation and the recording, it was a relatively easy process to add the graphics, pull it all together in CS5, export the files as .SWFs and post them.

I am proud of these projects on many levels, as a performer, arranger, copyist, and graphic designer.

      Jay
