SWF, Indesign and Hover click button

      Hi Every one !

      Nice to meet you , i was happy to find and join this forum.

      I want to create a hover effect when i’m clicking on a button like this https://scr.templatemonster.com/36500/36529.html for a PDF Presentation.

      1- I import my SWF animation in Indesign
      2- I set a button from just a rectangle form , and i link him to swf animation on BUTTON TAB with an HOVER EVENT and vidéo preset.
      3- When I make a preview all is fine when my mouse go on the button the swf is playing but when i put the mouse outside the button, the Swf don’t stop and when i come back on the button the swf don’t play again, it’s just play one time, but i set a stop option in my event tab for my swf.

      Have you got an idea why the video play juste one time ?

      I also want to know how i can mask the pop up ” clicl to activate ” i already mask the thumbnails it’s fine but when my mouse go on the place of my mask swf the pop-up is visible.

      I have also had a lot of problems with controlling SWF animations in InDesign. For example, if I set an animation to play in a loop, then export that as a SWF and bring it in to another InDesign document, then I cannot stop it! I can make a button to start it, but it will not stop.

      I think that Adobe is not giving the animation features much love these days because Flash/SWF is basically a dying format.

      Hi David,

      Thank you very much for your quick reply, since many times a try to find solution by myself and on the web but no way.

      To make a PDF presentation like my link how tools i can use it , to just play and stop animation with button over effect , wich tricks or adobe software i can use ?
      Because between edge reflow,indesign,muse,edge animate there are a lot of new tools it’s little bit confusing because they are not similary and no finished but some times they can do the same things

      It’s possible to use an other format ?
